About SeeStone

Built by retailers, for retailers.

We're building the intelligence layer that retail teams have been missing; explainable, grounded in your own data, and designed around how the work actually gets done.

Why we started

It started with a problem we had lived.

We set out to solve one of fashion's biggest challenges: waste. We saw the mountain of unsold stock piling up and asked whether we could get to the root cause of it rather than the symptoms.

The root cause is decision-making. Product data scattered across systems, benchmarks built on memory, and forecasts built on best guesses. Fix the decisions and you reduce the waste - while making the business more profitable at the same time.

Backed by Antler and UNSW, we combined our experience in the industry with proprietary AI to build a platform that is grounded in each retailer's own catalogue and history, and explainable at every step.

How we build

Not another AI wrapper.

Purpose-built, not general-purpose

Each model solves one retail decision - benchmarking a concept, forecasting a new style, allocating a buy. Not a generic model wearing a retail skin.

Technical depth, not prompt engineering

Built by people who've built real quantitative systems: trading algorithms, production ML, end-to-end platforms.

AI where it earns its place

We add AI only where it solves a problem a rule or a spreadsheet can't - and stay out of the way everywhere else.

Owned, not outsourced

Our matching, forecasting and vision systems are built and maintained in-house, not licensed from a third-party API.

Our lead architect built algorithmic trading systems before he built ours.

The team

People who have done the job.

Nilufer Haksever

Nilufer Haksever

Founder & CEO

A retail expert with more than ten years deep in the industry, Nilufer lived the chaos of excess stock and manual systems firsthand. She built new verticals and scaled tech solutions first in retail, then at Uber, where precision ruled and guesswork didn't exist. She is bringing that precision back to retail.
